Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Candidates from non-accredited programs must have at least five years of acute care nursing experience or hold an advanced degree from an accredited institution. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or must be obtained within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is also acceptable. Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required and must be maintained.

Licensure:
