Estate Planning & Family Law Attorney | North Shore, MA
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Pay: $120-185K+
Our client is seeking a full-time Family Law & Estate Planning Attorney in North Shore, MA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both family law and estate planning matters, supporting clients through complex and often sensitive legal situations. This position offers opportunity to gain courtroom experience. Candidates with family law and/or estate planning are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on family law matters, including divorce, custody, and related issues
Draft, file, and argue motions; conduct depositions; and represent clients in court
Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Counsel clients on asset protection, wealth transfer, and estate planning strategies
Assist with probate and trust administration
Work closely with clients to understand their personal, financial, and legal goals
Provide clear, strategic legal guidance across both practice areas
Qualifications
4–15+ years of experience in family law and/or estate planning and probate law
Strong knowledge of family law, estate planning, and trust and estate administration
Experience drafting legal documents, including motions, wills, and trusts
Proficiency in conducting depositions and handling court proceedings
Familiarity with probate court procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client counseling abilities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required with New Hampshire a plus!
