Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a department or division. This role is responsible for coordinating clerical functions, supporting financial and procurement processes, and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.
The Administrative Coordinator will manage scheduling, communications, reporting, and system coordination while serving as a key point of contact for internal teams and the public. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in administrative support, office management, or customer service roles
Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
Experience preparing reports, correspondence, presentations, and documentation
Experience supporting accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, or procurement processes
Experience working with databases, payroll systems, or work order systems
Ability to coordinate multiple administrative functions across a department
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed administrative reports
Experience Preferences
Experience working in government or public sector environments
Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
Experience supporting multiple teams or departments
Prior experience leading or supervising administrative staff
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to work in both office and occasional field environments
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Education Preferences
Some college coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
