Overview
Newman University – Student - Orientation Day Leader. Part Time, Wichita, KS. The Student Affairs Department is looking for energetic and outgoing student team members with a strong commitment to the University and a passion for sharing their campus experience and expertise with prospective students, families and other guests visiting Newman University on August 22nd during Orientation Day from 8:00am – 4:00PM. Compensation will include $150.
Responsibilities
Meet and greet new students as they arrive.
Assist new students with locating check-in materials.
Be a tour guide leading students or groups to and from locations.
Build relationships with new students.
Answer frequently asked questions from new students.
Be energetic and lively about the start of the new school year.
Requirements
Attend training with Orientation Supervisor prior to the event.
Dress in a University-issued shirt and jeans for the day.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
