Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $19.88 per hour, range 18
Additional salary credit may be awarded to internal transfers and recent district rehires, up to $31.87 per hour

Education & Experience
Required: Associate’s degree (preferred) or 48 semester hours of approved college credit, or passing scores on the Work Keys exam
Preferred: Experience in a related field
Job Description
Summary / Objective : Supervises student conduct, instructs individuals or small groups, supports school‑wide assessment, and performs clerical tasks assigned.
Essential Functions :
Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce instructional material and assist with computer assignments and classroom activities
Supports student access to the curriculum (e.g., note‑taking, reading, assistive technology)
Instructs small groups in assigned content areas in alignment with in‑building or in‑district training
Administers selected assessments and other assignments
Performs clerical duties such as copying, laminating, record keeping, data entry, filing, and cutting and pasting
Uses technology for data entry and instruction (interactive white boards, document cameras, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web‑based systems)
Monitors students before, during, and after school, on the playground and in the cafeteria; implements school PBIS
Performs other duties as assigned; 90% of time spent with students
Assists with lesson plans
Must be able to sit for long periods and maintain focus amid distractions; visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important
Must be able to move quickly from one position to another and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Additional Qualifications : Basic knowledge of computer data entry, office procedures and equipment, reading, arithmetic, grammar and spelling; effective communication with students and staff; willingness to learn assistive technology software.
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
Physical Demands : Must be able to perform the physical demands described in the position description.
