We are partnering with a professional services organization to identify an experienced E-Billing Manager to co-lead and manage e-billing operations.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely billing processes while supporting internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep legal billing expertise with strong operational and team management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Co-lead and oversee the end-to-end e-billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines

Review, submit, and manage e-bills through electronic billing platforms

Supervise and support a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and resolving escalations

Ensure timely generation, review, and distribution of invoices

Collaborate cross-functionally with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to address billing inquiries and discrepancies

Monitor billing performance, revenue trends, and reporting metrics

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of service throughout the billing cycle

Ensure compliance with legal billing standards and client-specific requirements

Qualifications
Required:

7+ years of legal billing experience, preferably within a law firm environment

Proven experience managing or leading a billing team

Hands-on experience with Elite 3E billing software

Strong understanding of legal billing practices and compliance requirements

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:

Experience with time and expense management systems

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
