Overview
Liberty Dental Plan is hiring a Desktop Support II for our on‑site Oklahoma City office. You’ll be the first point of contact for technology support—troubleshooting issues, delivering great service, and helping our teams stay connected and productive.
What You Will Do
Deliver end-to-end technical support in accordance with established IT service level agreements (SLAs).
Partner with end users and technology teams to analyze incidents, determine root causes, and implement timely solutions.
Provide technical assistance for incoming inquiries related to computer systems, software, and hardware devices.
Ensure quick, effective response times to meet required desktop support service levels.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software solutions.
Provide hands‑on guidance to customers/users to resolve issues and follow up as needed to ensure full resolution.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when supporting internal and external customers.
Research, diagnose, explain, and resolve technology issues using diagnostic tools and best practices.
Run diagnostic programs to identify and correct technical problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LAN, WAN, and other networked systems.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
What You Bring
Experience providing desktop or IT support in a fast-paced environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve issues within defined timeframes.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN and WAN environments.
Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support non‑technical users.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional technology teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and adapt as technology evolves.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (4-year) in Information Technology or a related field
or at least 4 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Certifications
CompTIA A+ Certification
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
