Overview

IFM Quality & Finishing Technician
Join Our Team as an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Quality & Finishing Technician. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality & Finishing Technician to provide repair, cleaning, and preventative maintenance services for customer equipment at industrial and commercial facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in industrial finishing, commercial HVAC systems, air quality, filtration, and equipment maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working directly with customers, and supporting high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the field
Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of industrial and commercial systems
Lead industrial paint, finishing, filtration, HVAC, and indoor air quality maintenance projects
Provide technical training and support for customers and technicians
Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment repairs and service needs
Document service work and maintain accurate service reports in company systems
Maintain and test service equipment and tools before and after use
Assist with special projects and technical service initiatives
Support product demonstrations and customer training both in the lab and in the field
Participate in establishing service and maintenance contracts
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of skilled trades or technical field service experience
1 year of experience in a focused application or product line
1 year of experience in at least two of the following areas:
Industrial finishing or paint systems
Powder coating / finishing
Commercial HVAC
Industrial cleaning systems
Filtration and indoor air quality
Mold remediation or duct cleaning
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and service documentation
Additional Requirements

Ability to travel up to 5%
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to learn company service systems and maintain equipment records
Must be able to work in environments that may include:
Paint and solvent odors
Moving mechanical parts
Electrical equipment
Airborne particles or chemicals
Certifications

Mold and duct cleaning certifications preferred
Ability to obtain certifications from primary vendors within 6 months (Graco, GEMA, Fanuc, Sames, CFT, etc.)
Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend regularly
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
