Position Summary
Provides day to day administrative and clinical support to diagnostic technologists and Radiologist in the breast services environment.
Shift Details
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Responsibilities
Aid in daily clinical space preparation and set up
Perform image verification and ensure image availability
Obtain and verify all pertinent information for patient visits, including prior imaging
Call patients for priors/ baselines/ callbacks/ post biopsy as needed
Schedule follow up patient appointments as needed
Assist with patient throughput and provide patient support as needed
Prepare clinical procedure rooms and paperwork
Assist technologists and physicians with clinical procedures as needed
Provide post procedural care information and follow up as directed/requested by clinical staff
Aid in maintenance of clinical spaces, including housekeeping, clinical supply stocking/inventory, and preparation of medical waste for transport
Utilize available clinical application systems as directed to facilitate radiologist and technologist workflows, including scanning and indexing clinical documentation
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Licensing/Certification:
Highschool diploma or GED required
CPR
Experience (years And Type)
Less than 1 year of experience
Knowledge And Skills
Computer literate
Ability to read and interpret medical reports
Familiarity with mammography setting
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service, both internal and external
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-motivator
Travel Required (% of time)

Primarily walking and standing
Lift 25lbs
Radiation, infectious disease, bloodborne pathogens, lifting, standing, floating coverage, overtime as needed, work outside of normal M-F business hours as needed
