Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance functions, ensuring compliance with company and brand standards for safety and quality. This role requires proactive leadership, tenant relationship management, and the ability to manage servicing of facilities, equipment and guest areas.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance, follow company and brand standards for compliance and safety.

Maintain and enforce preventive maintenance programs for equipment, heating and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers / smoke alarms, and plumbing.

Complete preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.

Ensure swimming pool and spa maintenance is performed per brand standards and health department regulations.

Follow departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work safely and neatly.

Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs; schedule preventive maintenance accordingly.

Assist other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving concerns.

Educate hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions.

Act as Manager on Duty when required.

Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Education & Experience

Minimum of high‑school education; post‑high‑school education preferred.

Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position; supervisory role preferred.

In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize work effectively.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Ability to exceed guest expectations.
