Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support the legal team in Davidson, NC. This role involves a mix of onsite and remote work and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Employment Law is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare template litigation hold letters and maintain litigation hold charts.
Follow up with recipients to ensure certifications are returned and phones collected as directed.
Compile lists of unique data sources for collection (excluding email, Teams, OneDrive).
Assist with collection and preparation of employee personnel files and related records, including:
Drafting requests for records based on templates.
Confirming receipt of requested records.
Preparing cover letters, applying Bate stamps, initial PII redactions, adding password protection, and emailing to HRBP.
Calendar litigation dates, position statement deadlines, and new law compliance dates; send reminders to relevant teams.
Copy severance agreements, route to HR, and maintain a chart of returned agreements.
Check immigration status for associates impacted by severance agreements.
Schedule meetings and prepare cover letters for subpoenas and personnel files.
Review email searches for relevance to cases.
Requirements
Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in employment law.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work onsite in Davidson, NC three days per week.
Proficiency with document management, redaction, and calendaring tools.
