Job Position: Blanchard Grinder & Plate Polisher Metal Finishing
Location: Capron, IL 61012
Pay Rate: $21.00 to $25.00/hr BOE
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Description:
We are seeking a skilled operator to grind and finish metal plates. The successful candidate will operate a Madison Blanchard Grinder to achieve precise flatness and subsequently operate a Plate Polisher for a smooth, high-quality finish.

Blanchard Grinder & Plate Polisher Metal Finishing Duties and Responsibilities
Operate Blanchard Grinder for plate flattening.
Operate Plate Polisher for finishing.
Learn to operate auxiliary equipment, including Edge Grinders and TimeSaver Sanders.
Blanchard Grinder & Plate Polisher Metal Finishing Qualifications and Requirements
Experience with Blanchard grinding or similar surface grinders.
Experience in metal polishing/finishing.
Ability to read simple blueprints and work orders.
Willingness to cross-train on other machinery.
