Pay and Benefits

Starting salary of $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience

Hours and Location

Monday – Friday, every week

Second Shift 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

No weekends

Repair / maintenance shop at our Harrison, MI hauling site

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.

Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.

Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).

Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.

Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.

Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications

4 years of relevant work experience.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Over 18 years of age.

Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

Physical Demands

Require frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing.

Constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.

Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, chemicals, etc.

Exposure to environmental elements such as dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes.

Work in both indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions (inclement weather, heat, humidity).
