Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Technician is to test/assemble Counter UAS (C-UAS) systems and products in our manufacturing facility following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

Position Responsibilities
Primary duty is the construction of mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand and precision tools
Final assembly of systems with the use of heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts
Testing and troubleshooting of sub-assemblies and final assemblies
Electrical wiring fabrication / soldering of components and wiring
Light machining and fabrication of metal and composite parts
Working with other production technicians and engineering to correct and improve upon any documentation, electrical and mechanical designs
Working with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency, product quality, reduce manufacturing costs and validate released assembly/fabrication documentation
Responsible for ensuring that work tracking paperwork is completed as the work is performed
May also train other technicians in build and testing process
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment or R&D fabrication lab
J-STD-001 class II or higher solder experience
Previous work within ESD, FOD, and cleanroom environments is desired
Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools is required
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with employees in the Company
Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail with ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
Vocational training in a manufacturing trade is preferred
Work with engineering on new product development efforts where documentation and assembly instructions are not yet finalized
Complete assigned tasks under minimal supervision and show problem‑solving skills
Able to excel in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties
Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals shared by the team
Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products
Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company
Focuses on teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interests
Physical Demands
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to frequently use hand tools (e.g., clamps) using light, minimal force
Involves extensive feet activity throughout the shift
Frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 lbs
Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and balance

$21 – $30

This position requires access to information that is subject to the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and EAR, or be approved for an export license. Some positions require current U.S. citizenship. Applicants must be willing to work on government contracts and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
