$29.9045-$39.8726 per hour, based on applicable and specialized experience and location
Union Position
This position is part of the Local 6 Union which requires complete open availability. We cannot accommodate schedule restrictions and full‑time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain designated areas to uphold the hotel’s cleanliness and condition standards.
Clean guest rooms as assigned.
Regularly inspect assigned areas to proactively identify and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Deliver supplies, and amenities to departments, guest rooms, and storage areas.
Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the housekeeping and operations teams.
Qualifications
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the pristine condition of the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms.
Prior experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of the level of service and cleanliness required to reach Forbes 5‑Star standards.
A strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while ensuring consistency in quality and service.
A proactive attitude, responding promptly to guest requests and anticipating needs before they are voiced.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
A commitment to upholding luxury service standards, ensuring that every task is completed to perfection.
Ability to work independently, with strong time‑management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical stamina and strength, as the role involves manual tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, and performing deep cleaning duties.
A passion for providing exceptional guest service, contributing to an overall experience that aligns with the hotel’s luxury and Forbes 5‑Star standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
