
Maintenance Mechanic Lead

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic Lead for a local client in Trappe, MD. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply.
Job Duties
Lead and support daily maintenance activities for production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including:
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Gear drives
Compressed air systems
Basic electrical components
Assist in prioritizing and responding to maintenance needs on the production floor
Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot issues with forklifts and powered industrial equipment as needed
Collaborate with production leadership to address operational challenges
Qualifications
Strong
mechanical aptitude
with basic electrical knowledge
Experience working with
production/manufacturing equipment Ability to troubleshoot and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
Understanding of workplace safety and commitment to safe practices
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with refrigeration systems
Prior leadership or lead-level experience
