ABC Plumbing, Sewer, Heating, Cooling and Electric is one of the top-rated residential service providers in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. ABC is looking to bring in a new Dispatcher who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment and delivers exceptional service. Our family owned and operated office, located in Arlington Heights, IL, has an opening for a Dispatcher who has at least 2 years of customer service experience.
Mid Shift (3 Weekdays - 1:30pm- 10:00pm), Saturday (9:30am- 6:00pm) & Sunday (8:30am- 5:00pm)
Responsibilities
Evaluate service calls and assign the best technician to each service appointment
Embrace change and adapt effectively
Communicate important information to technicians to ensure they have the best opportunity to service customers efficiently
Coordinate with customers throughout the day to ensure they are fully updated with technician’s availability
Work with proprietary and Microsoft systems to perform dispatching functions
Organizing call counts and technician availability to ensure customers are serviced effectively
Coordinating with Field Service Managers on availability and scheduling of technicians as well as successes throughout the day

Requirements
At least 2 years of Customer Service experience (Required)
1 year of dispatching (Preferred)
Strong sense of urgency, highly driven and motivated
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes simultaneously
Positive outlook and proactive approach to tasks
Must be able to work nights and weekends when applicable
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
