Title: US Payroll Admin with US Payroll Tax/Specialist - Payroll
Location: Wilmington, DE (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Administrator - US Payroll Tax to be responsible for US Payroll tax tasks including all corporate federal and state tax compliance and US payroll tax planning activities.
This role will be responsible for all associated payroll tax reporting and filings using SAP and ADP GlobalView and UKG Pro. May also analyze and administer HR service delivery programs in areas such as case management, data and reporting, compliance, vendor integration and transactional services for employees, managers, former employees, term-vested employees, candidates and retiree populations. Maintains payroll tax data and provides reports as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Payroll tax reconciliation reporting and approvals of the payroll runs including review and approval of funding for payroll tax remittances.
Manage new POA forms and tax authority set up – proactively run control reports to identify new work locations that require set up in SAP and ADP Globalview and with the agency.
Reconcile local tax set up to ensure employees are set up with the correct local tax jurisdiction code.
Work internally using Payroll Systems to balance, reconcile and approve 941, 940, W2, W2c, 499W2 and 499W2c and amended returns as well as resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare a weekly cash flow report to complete funding to Treasury/Accounts Payroll for payroll and tax funding.
Actively identify and determine disposition of employee related retroactive taxes not taken (N records) to ensure the employer and where applicable employee adjustments are made following the HR Service Center and ADP process.
Provide Payroll Tax expertise to HR Service Center and Payroll vendors to identify and ensure new legislation is implemented into systems in a timely and accurate manner. Support mergers, acquisition and divestiture tax work as required.
Assist with monitoring the Wage Type listing, ensuring all new and existing wage types are set up correctly for income and tax reporting purposes.
Manage the payroll tax quarterly process, including updates, corrections and approval of quarterly tax forms for the US and Puerto Rico.
Provide support for and manage any payroll tax audits for the US and Puerto Rico. Provide reporting requirements, testing, and support per auditor requests. Remediate outstanding audit comments, providing proof of proper tax handling.
Provide Payroll Tax communications for employees at year-end (to communicate federal tax changes, both income withholding and FICA).
Manage tax issues and calculations involving expatriates, employee relocation tax processes or those not handled by vendor or systems.
Manage the payroll year-end tax process and conduct user acceptance testing on new tax changes in the systems.
Stays abreast of and communicates effectively regarding federal and multi-state regulatory requirements, emerging industry trends and company policies
Collaborates with the Payroll Leader and Team Lead on payroll audits, validations, and new state/federal payroll laws
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
CPA and/or advanced degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years of payroll administration experience preferred
Minimum 3-5 years financial reporting and/or payroll tax experience preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements and SEC experience preferred
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Working knowledge of end-to-end payroll procedures and other pay-impacting processes such as GL reconciliation is strongly preferred; knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures is preferred
Able to work with confidential information, attention to details and accuracy, often in time-critical situations
Effective communication skills to work with all levels of employees
Experience partnering with business and function resources; third party vendors / outsourcers
Ability to navigate computerized data entry system or other relevant applications
Demonstrated effectiveness and ability to work independently
Acts honestly and professionally, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Demonstrated knowledge of payroll tax regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skill
Adaptable and flexible
Fluent in English
