Service BDC Representative Job Description
The Huffines Service Business Development Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and can communicate in a clear, efficient manner. The position is responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company’s service department goals and providing courteous and efficient service to our customers.
Service BDC Representative Job Responsibilities
Directly responsible for scheduling service appointments for guests
Coordinate loaner vehicles for appointments and communicate with guests about their loaner agreements
Future training to schedule valet service for guests through a third party
Complete outbound calls to guests asking them to schedule their vehicles due for service
Outbound calls reaching out to customers listed in our marketing campaigns for service scheduling
Follow up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction
Address customer concerns and issues or escalating as needed
Coordinate questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
Provide courteous and efficient electronic and phone customer service assistance
Take ownership of the customer experience by immediately addressing and resolving issues
Work in a varied working schedule environment that includes both opening and closing shifts
Business Development Center hours of operation 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
One Saturday shift per month is required
Service BDC Representative Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year of customer service experience
Automotive industry experience preferred
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in the use of computers, software applications, and technology systems
Motivated self‑starter able to establish and meet production goals
Time management, professional dress, and behavior are required for this position
Friendly and customer service focused
Proven ability to multi‑task
