Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Fort Worth, Texas.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Third Shift Friday - Sunday 4:30am - 3:00pm, Monday 4:30pm - 3:00am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years in Warehouse/Manufacturing/Production Environment (preferred)
1+ year in Construction or Carpentry (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a diverse environment
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
Works independently with minimal supervision
High degree of initiative
Capable of standing and walking extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times per 8‑hour shift)
Work independently and as a member of a team
Team player
Create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Comprehend basic math
Operate power equipment safely
Lift and/or push/pull up to 70 lbs
Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch frequently
Use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements
Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting
Follow repair process
Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
Pallet repair
Safely and securely repair pallets meeting company standards and safety
Manually lift 70 lb pallets from a stack to a repair table
Operate pry bar to detach damaged boards
Operate grinder and saw to remove existing nails; use 25 lb nail gun to re‑nail components
Ensure pallets meet CHEP's quality control audit
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Assist in maintaining warehouse security
Conduct operations that promote safety
Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
Wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
