Bilingual Payroll Specialist, New Castle, DE (Onsite), $60,000–$80,000 — Direct Hire

Bilingual Payroll Specialist – Responsibilities

Process full‑cycle weekly payroll in Paylocity for approximately 150 U.S. multi‑state employees from start to finish

Audit and validate timecards, PTO, pay adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings prior to every submission

Identify and resolve payroll variances, discrepancies, and employee concerns proactively

Optimize Paylocity configuration and workflows to eliminate manual processes and reduce reliance on Excel

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation to support audits and internal controls

Support year‑end processes including W‑2 preparation and reconciliation

Prepare payroll‑related journal entries and partner with Accounting on general ledger reconciliations and month‑end close

Assist with employee onboarding, data entry, benefits administration, and HR record‑keeping in Paylocity

Communicate payroll information clearly and professionally to employees in both English and Spanish

Bilingual Payroll Specialist – Requirements

Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — strictly required, non‑negotiable

3–5 years of full‑cycle payroll processing experience

Hands‑on Paylocity experience required; admin‑level access preferred

Multi‑state payroll processing experience

Advanced Excel skills including reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting

Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

AP/AR or broader accounting experience a plus — candidates with this background are eligible for compensation up to $80,000

Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight preferred

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. 100% onsite in New Castle, DE.
