Gastroenterology Physician

Schedule:

• 14 days per month (7 on / 7 off)
• 24-hour call includes inpatient coverage, rounding, consultations, ED call, and inpatient procedures

Clinical Responsibilities:

• General inpatient GI coverage
• ERCP (required)
• Endoscopy procedures
• ED consults and inpatient rounding

Patient Volume:

• Admissions per night: 10
• Patients per day:

Support:

• 3 dedicated inpatient APPs supporting GI services
• APPs assist in endoscopy, inpatient floors, and ED coverage

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP required (must be stated at submission)
• Active Kentucky license highly preferred (IMLC considered)
• ACLS and DEA required
