Ryder is hiring an Inventory Management Attendant in Greensboro, NC — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay $16.33 per hour
Schedule: First Shift Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm

Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Six months of related warehouse experience required (one year or more preferred)

Must have a clean driving record and pass a Motor Vehicle Check

Must have a valid Driver's License and meet Ryder's driving qualifications

Must be comfortable using a computer (AT&T Data Entry)

Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks; powered industrial truck certification

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Ability to operate and maintain powered industrial trucks (stand‑up, sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) – intermediate required

May be required to operate manual or automated equipment such as a packaging line – intermediate preferred

Ability to read and do basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies

Work overtime as assigned

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Flexibility to operate and be self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment

Capable of multitasking, highly organized, excellent time management

Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Responsibilities

Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.

Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly.

Help train dock employees on new procedures.

Ensure facility secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.

Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.

Perform assigned tasks as described in location’s policies and procedures.

Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions.

Participate in workgroup and team activities for self‑improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions.

Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.

Perform other duties as assigned.
