Key Responsibilities
Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity
Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support job costing and project financial tracking
Assist with WIP schedules and percentage of completion accounting
Prepare financial reports and support management with analysis
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and project teams
Qualifications
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting
Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Experience with job costing and project‑based accounting
Familiarity with WIP reporting is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
