Overview
Field Safety Representative position for Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) in Lafayette, IN. This role is field-focused and requires extensive on-site safety oversight.
Responsibilities
Safety professional with strong field experience to be in the field over 90% of the time.
Well-rounded with knowledge of primary mechanical trades, overseeing various scopes of the work being completed.
Strong knowledge of basic field safety regulations.
Willingness to be heard, address issues, reinforce positive behaviors and support skilled trade contractors.
Knowledge and experience with LOTO, fall protection, aerial lift work, trenching and excavation.
Qualifications
5-10 years of Field Safety experience.
OSHA 30 mandatory, OSHA 500 preferred.
Formal certifications or comparable experience in the field.
PPE, JHA/JSA knowledge.
CPR & First Aid certification.
Strong office & communication skills - will work with various individuals of site management/oversight.
