Position Summary
We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of 6+ months of store management experience. The trainee will partner with the Store Manager to lead store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations. The role includes day‑to‑day operations, financial analysis, asset protection, and customer‑centric service.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $17.50 to $27.41 per hour. Trainees are eligible for additional commissions (up to 8%) and performance bonuses based on store results.

Responsibilities
Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
Assist in training store personnel to meet company standards.
Recruit and retain top talent through designated channels.
Open and close the store, count cash drawers, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
Maintain asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
Administer store processes, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, and reporting.
Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
Ensure operating standards meet or exceed company expectations.
Verify loan qualification and buying processes to maintain loan integrity.
Complete assigned training and development tasks.
Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
Stay current on product knowledge.
Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Capable of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
Demonstrated supervisory skills.
Knowledge of firearms and ability to obtain certification.
Ability to work outside the store, including in parking lots or exterior storage areas.
Minimum age: 18 years.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Flexible to work multiple locations as needed.
Must work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Store Manager Trainees work 45+ hours per week; hours are business‑based and not guaranteed.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office equipment.
Strong multitasking ability, detail‑oriented, organized, and analytical.
Cash handling experience required.
Dependable work ethic and strong business sense.
