Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $14.70 to $22.40 per hour.
Additional compensation: Retail Store Managers may earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing a major portion of annual income.

Most stores open at 9 AM and close at 6 PM; many are closed on Sundays.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a PLUS). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day store operations and for creating a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing store employees; recruiting and retaining top talent; maximizing financial goals; managing customer relations and satisfaction; ensuring asset protection; and promoting the business to acquire new customers. This role reports to the area District Manager.
Responsibilities
Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
Assist in training pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and ensuring all procedures to protect assets are followed.
Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, and loan security.
Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
Complete assigned training and self‑development tasks.
Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
Stay current on product knowledge.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling) in compliance with law.
Demonstrated supervisory ability.
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
May be asked to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
Minimum age 18 years.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Must work in multiple locations as needed.
Must work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Store managers work 45+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs and are not guaranteed.
Computer literate; capable of operating POS and common office machines.
Can multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Detail‑oriented with strong organization skills.
Analytical skills.
Cash handling experience required.
Independent working capability.
Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
Additional Information
Commission Plan Information: Proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Details will be provided during the interview.
Employees must agree to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes.
Payrates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
