The Senior Market Research Analyst conducts analytical research and provides data-driven insights that support strategic marketing initiatives. The role contributes to intelligence projects while building expertise in business analysis and market research methodologies, strengthening the overall intelligence function. This is a regional role as part of the Southeast Region (Atlanta, North Carolina and Miami studio).
Common and Baseline Responsibilities
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of market data, trends, and competitive intelligence
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings
Conduct industry research and compile competitive landscapes
Support survey design, data collection, and analysis activities
Monitor industry publications, news, and data sources for relevant insights
Build and maintain databases of market information and competitive intelligence
Conduct company and market research to support business development
Analyze industry trends and competitive activity within architecture, design, and construction
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare regular intelligence briefings and market updates
Support development of thought leadership content emerging from events
Create and maintain standardized reporting templates and processes
Support senior team members in client-facing activities
Research clients, prospects, and markets to support pursuits and growth strategies
Build and maintain client, market, and competitor profiles
Create dashboards, reports, and briefings for leadership and pursuit teams
Contribute to special initiatives including M&A research and Metro & Main expansion
Project Support:
Assist with complex analytical projects under senior guidance
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development
Participate in cross-functional teams and collaborative initiatives
Support quality assurance processes for data and analytical outputs
Contribute to continuous improvement of intelligence processes and tools
Support proposal development and positioning
High-level Summary of Critical, Baseline Technical Skills and Certifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Software:
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
Licensure/Certifications/Education:
Undergraduate degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in analysis, research, or related function
