Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a full-time receptionist for a well‑established, nonprofit outpatient therapy clinic. This role is the first point of contact for patients and families arriving at the clinic, so the ideal candidate should be professional and personable with excellent customer service skills, able to handle stressful situations in a fast‑paced environment with grace.

Compensation: $16/hour with opportunity for advancement
Reports to: Office Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Schedule and confirm patient evaluation appointments
Conduct client intake, including collecting and entering demographic and insurance information
Verify benefits
Direct authorization requests to insurance department
Manage waitlist and fill cancellations
Assist with monthly productivity reports
Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and checking in patients
Assist with opening and closing of the clinic
Requirements
High school diploma; AA degree preferred
Minimum 1 year employment as a medical receptionist, high‑volume customer service professional, or equivalent experience
Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new platforms quickly
Strong multi‑tasking skills
Professional, friendly, and dependable
Excellent communication skills
Open to learning and collaborating with team members
Bilingual; Spanish‑speaking strongly preferred
