A respected Phoenix-based law firm with a well-developed private client practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration team. About the Role
This is a hands-on position offering significant exposure to estate planning, probate, and trust administration work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and clients on both routine and complex matters, taking ownership of files and playing an active role in advising families, fiduciaries, and high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related instruments
Manage probate and estate administration matters from opening through final distribution
Oversee trust administration matters and advise fiduciaries on ongoing obligations
Provide direct guidance to clients and coordinate with financial advisors and other professionals
Conduct legal research on estate, tax, and probate issues as needed
Assist senior attorneys with complex estate and wealth transfer planning matters
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and/or trust administration
Admitted to practice in Arizona (required)
Required Skills
Strong drafting ability with excellent attention to detail
Sound understanding of estate planning structures and probate processes
Confident client communication skills with a professional, empathetic approach
Ability to manage multiple active matters and meet deadlines effectively
Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
High level of discretion when handling sensitive family and financial matters
