Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our San Jose office, focusing on high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust administration, with the ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver tailored legal solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Advise high-net-worth clients on estate planning strategies, including tax-efficient wealth transfer, asset protection, and charitable giving.
Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, family limited partnerships, and advanced directives.
Structure and implement strategies to minimize federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
Counsel fiduciaries on trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings.
Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and family offices to deliver integrated planning solutions.
Provide guidance on business succession planning and closely held entity structuring.
Stay current on evolving tax laws and estate planning techniques.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Salary
$170,000 - $230,000 per year.
