Overview
Midsized Raleigh firm seeking a mid-level Trusts & Estates associate for a growing practice.
Responsibilities
Counsel clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, asset protection, and estate administration
Draft complex estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, multi-generational trusts, charitable trusts, and special circumstances planning
Advise on estate and gift tax matters, including overseeing preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns
Research and analyze nuanced legal and tax issues
Assist with business formations, contracts, and corporate transactions for closely-held business clients
Qualifications
3–5 years of trusts and estates experience with meaningful exposure to complex estate planning for high-net-worth clients, solid command of estate and gift tax rules, and genuine interest in building and sustaining long-term client relationships. All interested applicants must be admitted to practice in North Carolina and live in the Raleigh area.

This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on sophisticated trusts and estates matters in an established, collaborative, growing team. The incoming associate will advise high-net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses on the full spectrum of estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession matters.
