We are working with a top global law firm with an active need for a trusts and estates attorney to join its Chicago office as a junior-level associate. This firm’s T&E practice is established as a go-to wealth transfer and planning resource for high-net-worth individuals and its attorneys work closely with clients’ other advisers, such as financial planners, investment advisors, family office managers, and others, to coordinate estate planning. Responsibilities:
· Handle a range of trusts and estates transactions, including wealth transfer and tax planning, structuring family offices, business succession planning, charitable giving, and the administration of high-net-worth trusts and estates
· Interact directly with clients and their other advisors, such as financial planners, investment advisors, family office managers, accountants and insurance agents
Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of estate planning experience
· Exposure to estate and gift taxation
· Excellent academic credentials and writing skills
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $260,000.
