A well-established law firm in the East Hartford area is seeking an experienced
Trusts & Estates Paralegal
to support its growing trusts and estates practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on work in estate administration and values working closely with attorneys and clients.
What You'll Do
Assist attorneys with
trust and estate administration
matters from start to finish
Prepare and organize probate filings, court documents, and related correspondence
Draft routine estate planning and administration documents under attorney supervision
Coordinate with clients, courts, financial institutions, and other third parties
Track deadlines, manage files, and maintain accurate records
Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the trusts and estates team
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of experience
in trusts and estates administration or a closely related practice area (required)
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
Comfortable working primarily
in-office
(hybrid flexibility may be available after 6 months)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary starting around $55,000
, commensurate with experience
