Territory and Compensation
Territory: NYC & Surrounding Area. Base: $100K–$130K | OTE: $200K–$260K.
What You’ll Do
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business across commercial, government, and institutional markets
Build relationships with general contractors, property managers, architects, and facility leaders
Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, events, and outbound outreach
Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored solutions
Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, pricing, and presentations
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
Track activity and opportunities within CRM systems
Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and product innovations
Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events
What We’re Looking For
3–7+ years of business development or sales experience
Background in construction, building services, or related industries preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with excellent time management and organization
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Bonus Points For
Existing network in commercial real estate, construction, or facilities management
Experience selling window film, glass, or building-related products
Familiarity with RFPs, bid processes, and project-based sales
Knowledge of energy efficiency or architectural solutions
