Junior Researcher – Executive Search (NYC)

New York City | Hybrid (3–4 days in office)
The Opportunity

We’re working with a specialist executive search firm to hire a Junior Researcher into their growing New York team. This is not typical recruitment. The firm operates at the top end of the market, partnering with leading organisations to appoint C-suite and senior leadership talent. Their work is retained, insight-led, and highly strategic — focused on quality over volume. With an established UK presence and a fast-growing US office, this is a rare opportunity to join early in the build of a New York team.
What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work directly with a senior consultant on live executive search mandates, gaining exposure to high-level hiring from day one. Your work will focus on:
Mapping markets and identifying senior talent across specific sectors
Building detailed market insights and candidate long lists
Researching companies, leadership teams, and organisational structures
Engaging with senior professionals and building relationships over time
Supporting the delivery of retained search projects from start to finish
This is a role for someone who enjoys analysing, and understanding markets — not just sending CVs.

Interested in business, leadership, and how organisations operate
Backgrounds that tend to work well:
