Infosys is hiring a specialized AI Recruiter to support the growth of our AI talent, Machine Learning, and Generative AI practices globally.
This role is designed for a recruiter whose
primary focus is directly hiring AI talent , partnering closely with senior engineering, research, and delivery leaders to build high‑impact AI teams for Infosys and its global clients. This is a talent partner role with individual ownership of hiring outcomes, not a generalist recruiting position.

Core Responsibilities
AI Talent Hiring
Own end‑to‑end hiring delivery for AI‑centric roles, including:
Applied AI / GenAI Engineers
Data Scientists / ML Engineers
LLM Ops & AI Platform Engineers
Red Teaming Engineers (AI Safety Engineers)
Be accountable for pipeline quality, candidate engagement, and closures for critical AI roles.
Partner with AI engineering and delivery leaders to define role requirements, hiring priorities, and workforce plans.
Provide market intelligence on AI talent availability, location strategy, and compensation trends.
Act as a trusted advisor through expertise and data, balancing hiring speed with quality and long‑term capability building.
Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for scarce AI skills across product companies, startups, research ecosystems, and academia.
Assess candidate profiles beyond resumes, including applied projects, open‑source work, research, and real‑world impact.
Build sustained AI talent pipelines, not just requisition‑based shortlists.
Partner with interview panels to ensure consistent, high‑signal AI assessments.
Guide hiring teams on evaluating applied versus research‑oriented AI talent.
Deliver a high‑quality, recruiter‑led candidate experience aligned with Infosys’ brand.
Lead offer strategy, negotiation, and closing for critical AI hires.
Ensure alignment across global compensation, delivery timelines, and business priorities.
Track and improve hiring outcomes using data (time‑to‑hire, acceptance rate, quality indicators).
Experience & Expertise
5-6 years of recruiting experience, including 2–3+ years focused on AI / ML / advanced engineering talent
Proven success recruiting in competitive AI talent markets.
Strong working understanding of:
Machine Learning & Deep Learning
Generative AI / LLMs
AI Platforms, MLOps, and deployment
Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers, researchers, and candidates as a recruiting subject‑matter expert
