Position Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Bookkeeping Assistant to support daily financial and administrative operations. This role requires hands‑on experience using QuickBooks and focuses on routine, day‑to‑day bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with financial systems, and able to manage recurring responsibilities in a fast‑paced, structured environment. This is a support‑level bookkeeping role, not a senior accounting or managerial position.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Reconciliation
Prepare and record daily deposits
Verify daily drawer balances
Accounts Payable & Disbursements
Scan and organize invoices
Enter bills into QuickBooks
Print and match checks for signature preparation
Mail outgoing payments
Credit Card & Expense Processing
Import and categorize credit card charges
Pay credit card balances and match receipts
Administrative Support
Check incoming mail and distribute appropriately
Maintain organized filing systems
Support general office and finance-related administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma required; accounting or business coursework preferred
1–3 years of experience in an accounting clerk, accounting assistant, or similar role preferred
Working knowledge ofQuickBooksrequired
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential financial information
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
