Responsibilities
Supervises activities related to the development and management of an organization’s supply chain.
Oversees the work of a team that coordinates the movement of raw materials, in process goods or completed merchandise.
Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels and support organizational business objectives.
Forecasts demand or predicts inventory needs based on analysis of historical data.
Maintains contact with vendors and submits purchase orders or requisitions in order to ensure a continuous supply of goods.
Uses working knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures and practices.
Responsible for department safety and training.
Leads and directs the work of other employees.
Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions.

Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Expertise: Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
02-04 years related experience required.
Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.
