Job Description:
We are looking for a team member to join our Water Utilities department in the Water Distribution division. This position is part of a progression plan ($15.64 to $21.81 per hour) with defined pay increases as you gain skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and specific certifications and licenses. In this role, you will utilize a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform construction, maintenance, and repairs of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, city streets, parks, and related facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform construction, maintenance, and repairs of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
Work on city streets, parks, and related facilities using power and hand tools.
Follow safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license (must obtain an Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire).
Within twelve months of hire, obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements.
Class D Water Operator’s license and Class D Wastewater Operator’s license.
City will pay for required licenses and assist with training.
Benefits
