51-26 Wastewater Maintenance Worker
We are looking for a team member to join our Water Utilities department in the Wastewater collection division. This position is part of a progression plan ($15.64 to $21.81 per hour) with defined pay increases as you gain skills and knowledge through on-the-job training as well as specific certifications and licenses. In this position you will utilize a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform construction, maintenance and repairs of water/wastewater systems, city streets, parks, and facilities.
Responsibilities
Perform construction, maintenance and repairs of water/wastewater systems, city streets, parks, and facilities.
Utilize a variety of power tools and hand tools.
Progress through defined pay increases with on-the-job training and certifications.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Must obtain Oklahoma driver's license within thirty days of hire.
Within twelve months of hire, obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements.
Obtain Class D Water Operator's license and Class D Wastewater Operator's license.
The City will pay for required licenses and assist with training.
Benefits
