Overview

Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Benefits Department in the management of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and other benefit programs. What You Will Do

Support administration of leave of absence and workers’ compensation programs, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Manage leave-related processes, including time entry and bi-weekly reporting aligned with payroll.
Assist with claims investigations, documentation, and preparation for hearings, including review of determinations.
Complete required forms accurately and ensure timely processing to meet deadlines.
Provide guidance and respond to inquiries from managers, employees, and HR partners regarding benefits, leave, and workers’ compensation.
Participate in department meetings, workers’ compensation calls, and claims review discussions.
Assist with data collection and reporting for leave and claims activity.
Coordinate open enrollment tasks.
Contribute to risk management and safety initiatives related to workers’ compensation.
Support employee communications, including maintaining and distributing benefit-related materials.
Assist with updating policies and training materials.
Provide general administrative support to the Benefits team as needed.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or the equivalent work experience required
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred
Minimum two years of administrative/customer support experience, specifically in employee benefits required
Prior experience managing statutory leaves and insurance claims preferred
Strong organizational, data analytics, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel pivot tables and Workday preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
Demonstrates empathy and professionalism in every interaction required
Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt, including openness to using AI tools required
Pay Range

USD $66,300.00 - USD $72,000.00 /Yr.
