Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Urology Physician and make a vital impact on patient care in a leading Level III Trauma Center. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a clinical environment focused on outpatient services, inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding, with a flexible call schedule tailored to your availability. In this role, you will primarily manage adult urology patients (18+), performing procedures, consultations, and rounding as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with clinic hours extending to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday. The typical patient load is approximately 20 patients per day, with 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The facility offers limited robotic surgery availability and maintains a collaborative environment with a dedicated team, including nurses and support staff.

Required Skills:

• Valid and current NY Medical License
• Board Certification in Urology
• Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
• Active work history with no gaps exceeding 30 days
• BLS certification
• Ability to perform outpatient and inpatient procedures, consults, and rounding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Nice to Have Skills:

• Robotic surgery experience
• Additional certifications in urological procedures or specialties
• Experience working in Level III Trauma Centers
• Knowledge of new or emerging urology techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency in Urology with at least two years of relevant experience
• Proven track record in outpatient care, procedures, and inpatient consults

Other Requirements:

• 24-hour call availability (flexible based on personal schedule)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Certification and documentation of all required licenses and credentials
• Malpractice history must be reviewed, with physician statement provided if applicable
