Overview
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Techs to join their team onsite in Middle River, MD. This technician will oversee day to day production and manufacturing operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently. They will be responsible for identifying and escalating any issues to senior leadership in a timely manner. A solid understanding of the machinery is essential, including the ability to recognize early signs of malfunction or irregular performance.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable with machinery – CNC or AFP (Automated Fiber Placements)
Understand safety protocols
Understanding of manufacturing and production processes
Comfortable reporting issues to leadership
Experience working around union employees
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $28/hr. - $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
