Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in urology; prior experience in general adult urology and operative cases preferred
  • Board Certified Physician (Urology) - Board-certified urologist required
  • Required Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Clinical experience with general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgery, ureteroscopy, prostatectomy, incontinence procedures, robotic-assisted surgery, renal and bladder ultrasound, TRUS biopsies, and ESWL
  • Preferred: percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and advanced biopsy techniques
  • Clean professional history preferred for expedited credentialing (90-120 days)
Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage as the sole urology provider, with APP (advanced practice provider) backup support
  • Work approximately 10-12 days per month, including clinic, scheduled OR time, and call
  • Three clinic days per week (including in-office procedure days such as cystoscopy, fusion and TRUS biopsies, bladder biopsy, and urodynamic testing)
  • Average two days per week for OR block time - perform laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures, prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and stone procedures
  • Perform in-office procedures including cystoscopies, fusion biopsies, bladder biopsy, urodynamic (UDS) testing, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Participate in both weekday and weekend coverage as needed to support continuous patient care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, PAs, RNs, and MAs to deliver high-quality urology care
