• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)

• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for ongoing coverage)

• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15-20

Urology Physician Requirements (Qualifications)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (required) - board certified urologist preferred
• Active Pennsylvania medical license preferred (locum tenens urology candidates with expedited licensure or compact state privileges encouraged to apply)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urology (urology jobs experience)
• Fellowship training in urology (preferred)
• Ability to perform required urology procedures (see Responsibilities / Procedures below)

Responsibilities - Locum Tenens Urology Physician

• Provide both inpatient and outpatient urology care (approximately 15% inpatient, 85% outpatient)
• Round on 2-4 inpatients per day and manage inpatient urology needs
• Participate in call coverage as part of the urology team
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff

Required and Preferred Urology Procedures / Skills

• Required:
  • Adult urology clinical procedures
  • Ureteroscopy
  • TRUS (transrectal ultrasound) biopsies
  • Incontinence procedures
• Preferred:
  • Pediatric and neonatal urology experience
  • Advanced endoscopic techniques
  • Laparoscopic surgeries (including radical cystectomy, radical prostatectomy)
  • Nephrectomy, pelvic node dissection, partial nephrectomy
  • Robotic surgery experience
  • Adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
  • Fertility work-up, penile prosthesis, ESWL
  • Renal transplant surgery and advanced pediatric urology procedures
