Responsibilities
Provide clerical support in the Region IV Richfield office. Open and close offender cases, track cases through sentencing/referral, check in offenders, enter data in the O-track database, use other agency databases to document offender progress and open cases. Assist probation and parole offenders with reporting information and questions. Coordinate with courts and jails. Responsible for data entry accuracy. May also perform reception, mail handling, call routing, and general public interactions.
Answer frequent phone calls.
Face-to-face interaction with the public, probationers and parolees.
Provide authorized agencies with information.
Run a variety of reports.
Run rap sheets.
Coordinate information and assist agents and supervisors with clerical aspects of caseload supervision.
Prepare probation and parole documents.
Generate probation and parole agreements.
Verify conditions of probation and parole.
Open, maintain and update investigation files and other records.
Track court proceedings.
Send reports to courts and attorneys.
Data entry.
Qualifications
At least 1 year experience in a professional office environment.
Extensive working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Google Suite.
Detail oriented.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Experience scanning and uploading documents into a database.
Preferred: Experience in court, law enforcement, or corrections environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate: $19.90 per hour. Current UDC employees’ hourly rate will be based off the promotional policy. Work schedule 0800-1700 Monday through Friday, subject to change. Special physical demands are not required for the work.
