She Recruits is partnering with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Brooklyn, NY seeking a Pediatrician to join its community-focused primary care team.

Reporting to the Medical Director, the Pediatrician will provide comprehensive, community-based primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in a patient-centered outpatient setting.
This physician will serve a medically and socially diverse population and play an important role in addressing social determinants of health. Success in this position requires strong clinical independence, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to hands-on community care.
Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide full-scope pediatric primary care including preventive visits, acute care, and chronic disease management
Manage a consistent patient panel with emphasis on continuity and long-term health outcomes
Conduct comprehensive assessments and make independent clinical decisions
Deliver practical health education tailored to varying levels of health literacy
Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and care coordination teams
Manage follow-up care including labs, referrals, and hospital transitions
Participate in immunization initiatives and community health programs
Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation
Contribute to Quality Improvement initiatives focused on access and outcomes
Supervise and support advanced practice providers as needed
Participate in team meetings and foster a collaborative culture
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA registration
BLS or PALS certification
Experience in community health, outpatient primary care, or FQHC settings strongly preferred
Demonstrated commitment to serving underserved populations
Passionate about community health and reducing disparities
Comfortable practicing broad-spectrum pediatrics in a resource-conscious environment
Strong communicator with multicultural patient populations
Hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
Committed to relationship-based care and patient accountability
