Job Overview
The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times, coordinating schedules with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing, and maintaining compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain staffing schedules that ensure quality nursing care.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
Coordinate with executive leadership to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Collaborate with the team to work toward a common goal of excellent resident care.
Provide interpersonal communication with team members to ensure equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a state‑approved training program in medication administration.
Indiana QMA license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
