Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist at Honeywell, you will manage and execute various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in accounting in billing and accounts receivable roles.

Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles.

Familiarity with Government contracts.

Experience working in SAP.

Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, SUM, IFs, VLOOKUPs).

Ability to work independently and have attention to detail.

Additional Value

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Ability to build relationships (internal and USG customer).

Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Audit experience or exposure.

Experience in a fast‑paced billing environment.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to learn quickly.

Salary Range
$67,800 - $84,900 (San Jose, CA). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
